It correlates to sexuality and all creative energies. There is an interesting link between the sense of taste and sexuality in this chakra. Mantak Chia, in his book Taoist Secrets of Love, states: Many people confuse the hunger for food and sex as being similar biological desires that are both necessary for survival.
